This weekend, a team of cyclists, including Prostate Cymru Ambassador Ray Giles, will be taking on the incredible challenge of cycling to Aber and Back to raise money for Prostate Cymru.
The group of 26 cyclists will be starting from Kenfig Hill RFC all the way to Aberystwyth and back.
The team were originally meant to be completing the Santander 2 Lisbon challenge in 2020, however unfortunately this event has had to be postponed for the second time due to the pandemic.
With the postponement of the big event, the team are excited to get started on this fantastic challenge which will raise vital funds for Prostate Cymru .
Upon completing the first leg of their journey, Prostate Cymru Ceredigion Friendship Group will be cheering the team on at Aberystwyth Pier.
So far they’ve raised an incredible £400.

The team would also like to say a huge thank you to SMH Products, Empire Pro Tape, Itscaffold, and EG Lewis Co Ltd, who supplied the kits for Aber and Back.
We are so grateful for anyone who decides to fundraise for us and would like to thank Ray and the team for this fantastic fundraiser that will help us raise the funds needed to fulfil our core aims of raising awareness and supporting treatments and improving equipment for prostate diseases.
The charity sector has been hit hard by recent events and as a result we have lost a significant amount of fundraising this year due to lockdown restrictions and social distancing measures.
