The sun was shining on Sunday 20th September in Porthcawl for a day of racing. The day began at 9:30am with a 5K run organised by Porthcawl 5K club and supported by Herbalife. The picturesque route took the group of runners through Porthcawl town and along the seafront.
From 11:30am, the cycling races took over. Children from cycling clubs across Wales and local schools had been encouraged to get on their bikes as the youth categories were filled with enthusiastic cyclists. Youth A Welsh titles were awarded to Rhys Britton and Emily Tillett, whilst Alex Harvey won the Junior Men’s championship title. Following the youth competitions, a series of senior races were held including the women’s, veterans and criterium championships. Well done to Ruby Miller and Jon Mould who were crowned the champions of the Prostate Cymru Welsh Cycling Criterium Championships 2015.
