250,000 men are living with prostate cancer in the UK.
Being diagnosed with prostate cancer can affect your everyday life, work and relationships. You may experience side effects of treatment or symptoms of your cancer that can be difficult to cope with or you may be worried about your cancer coming back after treatment.
Following your treatment, you may feel:
– Concerned about your cancer coming back
– Feeling isolated/abandoned once you complete your treatment and are no longer seeing your doctor or nurse
– Depressed or anxious about what has happened to you and the future
All of these thoughts and feelings are normal and can be addressed. Please see the next page to find support links and information.
