Join Prostate Cymru in August 2023 and ride the valleys with us to help men in Wales with prostate cancer.
The ride will take place on the 13th August 2023, starting in Margam Park.
Whether you are part of a club, a cycling enthusiast or just ride for fun, why not sign up for Wales’ premier sportive today?
There are two routes to choose from, the shorter route at 54 miles, or the longer route at 72 miles.
Sign up for either of the routes here.
All participants will be given a disposable timing chip and access to feed stations along the route, so why not take on the challenge this August.
Early bird entry for the event is just £35, with an optional fundraising element.
If you decide to take part on the day, you can still come down and pay £45 to take part.
Fundraising for this event is not necessary, however we would love for people to try and raise a minimum of £100.
As a thank you to everyone who raises £100 there will be a surprise item of cycling apparel!
The history of the Five Valleys route comes from an event which was started as a road race by the Port Talbot Wheelers in 1958 and grew to become one of the most famous races held in Wales.
The reason for its popularity was because it was an arduous course taking in some of the most historical climbs in South Wales such as the Bwlch and Rhigos mountains. It was the only race in Wales which was given a Star Trophy status – this rating is now called the Premier Calendar.
