As part of our Team Prostate Cymru, the charity promises to offer:
- A free running vest, wristband & badge.
- Pre and post-race reception at Tiny Rebel with massage and refreshments after the race.
Cardiff Half Marathon is Wales’ largest road race with thousands of entrants taking part each year. The predominately flat course makes it ideal for both beginners and elites. The popular race joins the SuperHalfs, a new international half marathon series, this year along with races in Lisbon, Prague, Valencia and Copenhagen.
Cardiff’s 13.1 mile route takes runners past the capital’s most iconic landmarks with beautiful scenery and historic buildings. The race starts outside Cardiff Castle and runners then head down past Cardiff City Stadium on the way to Penarth. Runners take in the glorious Penarth Marina before crossing the barrage and heading to Cardiff Bay. The race runs right through the heart of the bay taking in the Norwegian Church and Wales Millennium Centre. The course then heads towards the north of the city and runners will complete a loop of the beautiful Roath Park Lake before finishing in the heart of the city at the Civic Centre.
Runners who have already registered themselves to take part in The Cardiff Half Marathon 2024 but wish to support Prostate Cymru independently should also contact [email protected] to receive their fundraising pack including running vest.
