In a heartwarming tribute, the cycling community came together on the 1st of June to honor the memory of Tim Driscoll, a dedicated fundraiser for Prostate Cymru.
Tim, who sadly passed away in 2022, was renowned for his passionate efforts in supporting the charity, earning the prestigious title of Fundraiser of the Year in 2020.
Tim Driscoll’s fundraising journey was nothing short of inspiring. He was well known for his creative approach, using his talent to create caricatures of iconic Welsh legends to raise funds.
His dedication didn’t stop there; he also participated in the gruelling 54321Cymru challenge, a cycling endeavour that saw participants traverse Europe in a test of endurance and commitment, as well as Prostate Cymru’s cycle event, The Five Valleys Sportive.
To commemorate Tim’s incredible contributions and to keep his spirit alive, 54321Cymru organised a special “Ride to Remember” event.
Family, friends, and other cyclists gathered to participate in this meaningful ride, which concluded at St Albans RFC. The event was a powerful testament to the impact Tim had on those around him and the legacy he left behind.
The success of the Ride to Remember was made possible through the generous support of Whiteheads Building Services and the continuous efforts of 54321Cymru.
Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and contributed to making “A Ride to Remember” a resounding success.
