Prostate Cymru Ambassador Ray Giles to take on The Big Cycle virtually to help raise money for Prostate Cymru on October 3rd.
Ray Giles will be challenging himself to complete the whole 54 miles in one day either on his turbo at home or, weather permitting, riding circuits of his local town adhering to the latest COVID-19 guidelines.
Speaking about the challenge Ray said, “I’m really looking forward to completing 54 miles for Prostate Cymru this Saturday and helping raise money for a good cause. I’ve taken part in a lot of cycling fundraisers, including the 2.6 Challenge this year. I’m hoping people will want to join me in completing The Big Cycle this weekend, and it will keep people motivated and productive with the current local lockdowns.”
Join Ray this October and challenge yourself to complete The Big Cycle.
Whether you want to ride the whole 54 miles this weekend when Ray does, or even just tick off those final few miles and need a bit of motivation to get you there, we’d love to see your photos and posts over social media.

The charity sector has been hit hard by recent events and as a result we have lost a significant amount of fundraising this year due to lockdown restrictions and social distancing measures.
People like Ray taking on challenges like the virtual The Big Cycle are a massive help and we are so grateful for their participation in our events as they help us raise the funds needed to fulfil our core aims of raising awareness and supporting treatments and improving equipment for prostate diseases.
