The charity continued its summer roadshow with three days in sunny Pencoed for the Bridgend County Show. Over the course of the three days Prostate Cymru’s Head of Awareness Dai John, Specialist Nurse Gaynor Newton, Awareness Volunteer Ian Norton and Ambassador Terry Walton were on the charity’s stand to raise awareness of prostate issues such as benign prostate disease and prostate cancer and to chat about the charity’s work.
The stand was in the Glamorgan Smallholders section of the showground thanks to the kindness of Russell Capeling who offered to help following an awareness talk to the society earlier this year.
The Bridgend Show is over 70 years old and offers an exciting mix of entertainment, trade stands, horticulture, food, equestrian events and a lot more besides creating a perfect day out for the family.
