Following the highly successful annual Broad Haven Pudding Run in early December, run organiser Hazel Rudder, presented a cheque of £1000 to Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru at The Ocean Bar, Broad Haven on 16th February. Mostyn & Kay Davies, owners of The Ocean Cafe Bar & Restaurant, are great supporters of both the Broad Haven Pudding Run & Prostate Cymru.
This generous cheque was received with such grateful thanks from committee members of the Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru Brian Harries, John Williams & Judith Griffiths. The Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru group are on the cusp of raising £300,000 in 5 years, this is down to the generosity of the people of Pembrokeshire. The money is spent benefitting the urological health of men of Pembrokeshire & West Wales.
An incredible 300 people took part in the annual run in December including Prostate Cymru’s Events & Marketing Executive Owen Pugsley. Licensed by the Welsh Athletics Association, the run is a 10km road run around the beautiful village of Broad Haven in Pembrokeshire. In addition to the main event, there are also a number of mini ‘pud’ runs for participants under the age of 15.
