Cheryl Davies took on the incredible challenge of completing Man v Horse to raise money for Prostate Cymru.
The Man v Horse event is considered to be one of the world’s most bizarre sporting events that saw over 1000 runners take on the challenge to beat a horse in completing the 20 mile race.
Cheryl decided to take on the challenge and raised over £800 for Prostate Cymru.
Speaking about the challenge, Cheryl said, “The Man v Horse race was absolutely amazing. Running alongside horses on a hilly and muddy route was insane, but something I will never forget! We had rain, hail, sunshine and wind but there was support along the way and I had the most amazing day. I am so pleased with the money I have raised for Prostate Cymru!”
The Man v Horse marathon is an annual race that takes place in the Welsh town of Llanwrtyd Wells.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Cheryl for her incredible fundraiser that will help us fulfill our key aims as a charity of raising awareness, funding innovation and helping save the males in Wales.
