A disbanded choir has donated its final funds to a number of Welsh charities. Cor Baroc was a mixed voice choir based in Llanelli. The choir was founded in 2005 and performed light classical choral works for ten years before making the decision to disband.
Cor Baroc presented a cheque for £1000 to Prostate Cymru’s Chairman Andy Thomas at a special presentation evening at The Thomas Arms, Llanelli on Tuesday 19th January. Prostate Cymru would like to thank Cor Baroc for nominating and selecting the charity to be a recipient of their donations. Other charities that were recipients of Cor Baroc’s funds include Ty Bryngwyn Hospice Trust, Calon+, units at the Prince Phillip Hospital, Wales Air Ambulance and Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Wales.
