Clive Edwards, the well-known Director of Taf Valley Coaches in Whitland, has donated £500 to Prostate Cymru, the leading prostate health charity in Wales. Clive has been a prolific and innovative charity fundraiser for many years raising many thousand pounds for worthwhile causes.
Clive is also known in the county of Carmarthenshire as a popular singer who has appeared many times on S4C. Clive raised the excellent sum of £500 through his recent musical ventures. Clive hosted a popular annual charity weekend in Caernarfon where hundreds of guests are taken from within the county, by his coach company, for entertainment and enjoyment. In addition, throughout the year Clive organised raffles at a number of concerts he was performing in.
The donation was presented to Castell Howell’s Brian Jones on behalf of Prostate Cymru on Tuesday 3rd July at a preliminary meeting of the Carmarthenshire Friends of Prostate Cymru. The group is the newest friendship group of the prostate health charity and aims to support fundraisers and raise awareness in the county of Carmarthenshire.
