In February, representatives from Holy Cross Church in Cowbridge presented Prostate Cymru trustee Lyn Murray with a cheque for £750, the proceeds of the church’s annual Christmas tree festival.
Prostate Cymru was the nominated charity for the annual Christmas tree festival in 2015. The popular festival took place over the weekend dating 27th to 29th November. An impressive total of 75 trees were decorated creating a wonderful spectacle in the church. Following the festival, a number of trees remained in the venue until early January for churchgoers and visitors alike to enjoy.
Prostate Cymru’s wonderful white and blue themed tree was decorated by trustee Lyn Murray, Janine Rees and pupils from Pendoylan Church in Wales Primary School. Festive entertainment was provided during the festival weekend by Cowbridge Male Voice Choir, Cowbridge Hand Bell Ringers and St Brides Major Church in Wales Primary School.
