In Wales, 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer at some point in their lives. Older men, men with a family history of prostate cancer and afro-Caribbean men are more at risk.
The survival rate is improving but early diagnosis is necessary and can often lead to more successful treatment. This means there is a significant need to increase awareness, treatments and research.
Prostate Cymru has no national or government funding and relies on the kindness and generosity of its fundraisers and volunteers.
Your support can raise funds as well as awareness.
We have many ways you can get involved whether you sign up to one of our events, have plans to organise your own event, start a Friends of Prostate Cymru Group, or by making a donation.
It’s really easy and we’re here to help you
