With a lot of our events being postponed for the next few months, we are going to be hosting a virtual challenge that all age groups and abilities will be able to enjoy.
With the restrictions currently in place it can be hard to find motivation to keep active, so let us help you Move In May.
Choose three weeks in May that work for you and take on Prostate Cymru’s Move In May challenge by completing five days a week of five-minute activities. Whether you decide to do a five minute boogie, a spot of yoga in the kitchen, mow the lawn, chase the children around the garden, walk the dog or even setting the children a challenge to help make home schooling fun, it all counts!
When you sign up to Move In May you will receive a digital event pack which will include: a welcome letter, event bib, activity tracker as well as some hints and tips.
All we ask is that you make sure your activities are in conjunction with government guidelines.
These activities should be undertaken ALONE or with members of the household, however that isn’t to say people shouldn’t see what you are doing.
We would love you for you to post your activities and achievements on social media using the #MoveInMay. This gives us the ability to track you but also for others to see what you are doing and maybe join in themselves.
We want to create a community with you in May so whether it’s posting a photo on social media, using a tracking app like Strava, or even sending us an email of your achievements so that we can post it to help inspire other people, it all counts.
