Olympic Silver Medallist, presenter and entrepreneur Jamie Baulch is encouraging runners to become part of Team Prostate Cymru at the Royal Welsh Trail Running Festival in Builth Wells on Saturday 19th May.
Jamie, a sprint athlete specialising in 400m who has won medals at the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, World and European Championships, attended the Mid-Wales trail running event last year, meeting runners from across Wales including the podium finishers.
Jamie said: “The Royal Welsh Trail Running Festival is a fantastic event for trail running enthusiasts and has a great family friendly atmosphere. I’d encourage anyone to take part in the event especially to support a good cause such as the lead charity partner Prostate Cymru and help raise awareness of prostate cancer in Wales.”
Prostate Cymru, the lead charity partner for the event, has free charity places available for the 10K and half marathon races for those pledging to support £150 to help #savethemalesinwales and raise awareness of prostate cancer, the most common cancer diagnosed in Welsh men. You can register by visiting the Royal Welsh Trail Running Festival website and click on ‘Run For Charity’.
