On 27th June, John Heycock took part in the Peaks challenge in the Lake District for Prostate Cymru.
Starting on Saturday, John ran 58km in the picturesque Lake District. Although John was running some of the most scenic parts of the largest national park in England, the trail was also gruelling at times with severe climbs and descents included in the route.
John completed the challenge in thirteen hours, five minutes and four seconds, finishing the run at 12:15am on Sunday. John would like to thank all his family, friends, Prostate Cymru and staff at Neath Port Talbot Council Social Services for their encouragement and support of his fundraising challenge.
