Prostate Cymru is delighted to announce that The Big Walk is back this July, bringing together breathtaking scenery, Welsh culture, and a chance to support a great cause.
Over six special dates—5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th and 27th July 2025—The Big Walks for Prostate Cymru will take place in some of Wales’ most iconic locations.
Whether you’re looking for a leisurely stroll or a more challenging trek, there’s a route to suit everyone.
On Saturday, 5th July, participants can choose between The Vale Circular Walk, a picturesque 5.5-mile route, or the more challenging 13-mile journey from Neath to Kenfig Hill.
The adventure continues on 6th July with the Carmarthenshire Circular Walk, an 8-mile route through beautiful countryside.
On 12th July, the stunning Brecon Big Walk offers a rewarding 6-mile trek, while on 13th July, walkers can experience the breathtaking coastal scenery from Solva to St Davids.
Join us on 19th July for an unforgettable walk, starting at Swansea.com Stadium and passing by some of Swansea’s most iconic landmarks! Along the 8.1-mile route, we’ll take in sights likeSwansea Arena, St Helens Rugby Ground, and finishing at Verdi’s Café.
Finally, on 27th July, the Aberystwyth Big Walk will take participants on an inspiring 4.5-mile journey.
The Big Walk is open to people of all ages and abilities. With several routes and distances available, everyone can find a walk that suits their preference.
Participants also have the option to take on the challenge independently at their own pace throughout July.
It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new people, explore Wales’ natural beauty, and support a vital cause.
Entry is just £25 for one of the specific guided walks, which includes a free T-shirt, a guided experience, and refreshments along the way.
Alternatively, for just £10, participants can complete the challenge at a time and location of their choosing.
