Inner Wheel is one of the largest female voluntary service organisations in the world and Milford Haven has a well established and one of the most active Inner Wheels in West Wales. This year under the leadership of their President Katharine East, one of the charities that they are supporting will be Prostate Cymru.
At their well attended Xmas mince pies and sherry morning in December at St Katharine’s Church in Milford Haven they invited Judith Griffiths and John Daniels, of the Pembrokeshire Friends of the charity, to speak on the work of the charity and the effects of prostate cancer. Also present was Lynda Brown from Milford Haven who is the District Chair of Inner Wheel.
The event was part of a wide range of activities that Inner Wheel members enjoy with a major event planned for Friday 28th April 2017 when the Radio 2 gardening guru Terry Walton of the Jeremy Vine Show will host a Gardeners Question Time at the Beggars Reach Hotel, Burton, in aid of Prostate Cymru.
