Phil Rees is well known throughout the farming community of Pembrokeshire as the Founder and Managing Director of PRAg which is based at Broadway near Haverfordwest and is a well-established agronomy business through the provision of specialist grassland and arable husbandry advice.
In his spare time Phil is a dedicated runner and on one of the hottest days of the summer, Saturday 19th May, he took part in a 10k trail run at the Royal Welsh Trail Running Festival at Builth Wells, starting and ending at the Royal Welsh Showground, running through familiar territory of valleys, fields, woodland tracks and stunning forestry. In doing so he raised £300 for Prostate Cymru who were the nominated charity at the event.
Prostate Cymru ambassador Eddie Butler who is well known as a rugby legend, broadcaster and author recently called to see Phil to thank him for his efforts.
Eddie said: “It is wonderful to see the special efforts that people like Phil make in going the extra mile in supporting Prostate Cymru in spite of being a very busy man.”
