In May, Prostate Cymru launched the #MoveinMay event. This event asked participants to conduct 5 minutes of activity for 15 days in May.
We saw a huge range of activities from family baking, to mountain hiking and puzzles or guitar lessons. We would like to thank our participants and their families for taking part, spreading awareness of prostate health in men in Wales and providing life saving donations in May. Check out the gallery to see what we got up to in the month of May.
There is still time to donate in support of the Move in May participants here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/moveinmay
The pandemic and subsequent lockdown have massively hit the charity sector and its incoming fundraising as a result of having to cancel and postpone many events and gatherings. We want to be sure that when the lockdown eases, Prostate Cymru is able to maintain the lifesaving research, investment in technology and awareness campaigns we conduct to #SavetheMalesinWales.
There are plenty of ways to stay involved now. If you would like to continue fundraising at home or in the community you can contact us here or share your posts with us by tagging Prostate Cymru on social media. Keep an eye on Prostate Cymru’s social media pages to find announcements of future events and campaigns.
