Training on your own can be hard going but many people find it easier with a bit of help. To support those runners taking part in the Cardiff Half marathon on behalf of Prostate Cymru, we have teamed up with personal trainer Rhodri Llywelyn Williams and founder of Be Your Best Personal Training.
With years of experience in the fitness industry and based in Roath, Be Your Best Personal Training offers one to one or small group personal training sessions that can be taken at your home, outside or at the gym.
Be Your Best Personal Training focuses on one thing – to help you be your best and achieve your goals, whatever they may be.
Whether it’s weight loss, toning, gaining muscle, improving your fitness level for an event or merely personal satisfaction; they can educate and motivate you in a fun, unintimidating environment where your goals and enjoyment are the number one priority.
Each runner taking part will receive nutrition tips and a training programme from Rhodri to help keep you on track.
Be Your Best Personal Training are also offering an exclusive deal for anyone who signs up to the Cardiff Half via Prostate Cymru. You can book 10 sessions for one person at only £200 or Be Your Best Personal Training also offers group sessions from £250 for two people or a group of three can purchase a block of 10 sessions for £300 (only £10 each per session!!).
With this you’ll get a free consultation, fitness and strength test and then a personalised programme tailored specifically to the individuals.
Rhodri’s sporting background extends back to his early years, with sports being an instrumental part of his life for as long as he can remember. As well as holding county records in both track and field events, he has played rugby to county level, and football, his main sport to a semi-professional level, as well as international trials as a schoolboy.
He’s always wanted to pursue a career in sport, so completed a Bachelor of Science degree in UWIC, prior to completing his Personal Trainer courses, and has been in the industry ever since.
This year’s Cardiff Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 4th October at 9am. The race starts outside Cardiff Castle running through Penarth Marina and Roath Park before finishing on North Road just outside the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
