Prostate Cymru are pleased to continue an ongoing charity partnership with the Peter Morgan Group for 2023.
Included in the charity partnership is the newly established, PM Financial who supports and sponsors athletes by offering life and health insurance. The company aims to reinvest into grassroots and ensure that anyone who is playing high impact sports such as rugby, UFC and bare-knuckle boxing can get the support they need.
So far they are sponsoring Carys Mai Hughes, a Welsh international triathlete. Carys was recently crowned 2022’s Welsh Triathlon Super Series Champion, winning her age group categories at Ironman Mallorca 70.3 and Swansea 70.3, qualifying her for the 2022 and 2023 70.3 World Championships in Utah and Finland.
Carys also won the Standard Duathlon qualifying event for the 2023 Worlds in Ibiza, all this, a mere year since competing in her first-ever triathlon in 2021!
Through the partnership Peter Morgan Group will be supporting the charity throughout the year and PM Financial will be sponsoring The Five Valley Sportive as headline sponsor for the feed station on top of the Bwlch mountain.
Jonathan Morgan of PM Financial has supported Prostate Cymru over the years through his fundraising team Pedal4Prostate, who took on fantastic challenges such as John O’Groats to Lands End, cycling the width of Wales and the Carten100.

In 2023 Jonathan is taking on his own set of challenges including Iron Man, Abersoch Triathlon and THE LAP around Lake Windermere.
Jonathan Morgan said, “We’ve completed these challenges for Prostate Cymru to support an amazing cause and I’m honoured that we’ve been selected as official partners in my business Peter Morgan Property Group, and specifically able to help athletes in Wales get covered for sports protection in PMFinancial. We say #protectedathletes and I know that aligns with #savingthemalesinWales, something I’ve not stopped thinking about since my first contact with Prostate Cymru.
He continued, “Next year I’ll be tackling my biggest challenges yet and knowing it’s for an amazing cause close to my heart makes it all worthwhile.”
Jonathan has also set up a cycling club that will meet every Sunday. This club intends to take on some of the amazing clubs Wales have to offer, with cyclists encouraged to leave a small donation for the charity.

We are thrilled to be working with the Peter Morgan Property Group over 2023 and can’t wait to see what the year holds.
As a charity with no government or NHS funding, partnerships like this are crucial in fulfilling our key aims of raising awareness, funding innovation and helping #savethemalesinwales.
