Prostate Cymru Ambassador, Ray Giles, has decided to challenge himself to cycle 100k in a day to celebrate his 60th birthday.
Ray has taken part in multiple fundraisers for Prostate Cymru during 2020, including 2.6 Challenge and The Big Cycle, and is already starting 2021 strong.
So far Ray has raised and incredible £2,500.
Speaking about his challenge, Ray said, “For my 60th Birthday I am cycling 100k (62 miles) to raise money for Prostate Cymru. I will be taking on the challenge on Friday 15th of January. I’ve chosen Prostate Cymru because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope that you’ll consider contributing as a way of celebrating with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal.”

The charity sector has been hit hard by recent events and as a result we have lost a significant amount of fundraising this year due to lockdown restrictions and social distancing measures and we aren’t through this yet.
If Rays 60th birthday challenge has inspired you to create your own birthday fundraiser it’s easy to sign up.
Just search ‘Birthday Fundraiser’ on Facebook to start and search ‘Prostate Cymru’ to choose us and help us fulfil our core aims.
