In September 2020, over 40 cyclists will be taking on a 580 mile cycling challenge for Prostate Cymru, the leading prostate health charity supporting men with benign prostate disease and prostate cancer. The cycle will start in the port city of Santander, situated on the north coast of Spain and finish in Lisbon, the coastal capital city of Portugal. Unlike some charity cycle rides, all participants on the ride pay the cost of the trip including a bespoke kit personally to ensure that all fundraising goes directly to Prostate Cymru.
The team have already started fundraising through JustGiving, at work and in the community including ambassador Ray Giles. Ray recently met up with friend John Daniel and family from Taibach who kindly donated £983.65 towards the team’s epic cycling challenge for the charity. Upon receiving the donation Ray expressed his thanks and gratitude to John and family for the generous amount which will help support men in Wales with benign prostate disease and prostate cancer.
