The charity had a great time visiting Swansea Air Show as part of their summer roadshow, raising awareness across Wales at events and festivals. Prostate Cymru’s Head of Awareness Dai John and Urology Nurse Janet Marty were on hand at the charity’s stand to offer advice about prostate issues including benign prostate disease and prostate cancer.
Enjoying the sunshine, the pair also chatted to attendees of the national air show about the charity and its events. The air show coincided with National Armed Forces Day this year resulting in the best ever turnout for the Saturday. The air show marked this occasion by displays from the Red Arrows, fighter planes from World War One and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
The forecasted rain and storms arrived in Swansea on the Sunday afternoon but our Head of Awareness Dai John battled the weather to raise awareness of prostate issues and discuss prostate health with those attending the second day of the event.
