Tenby Round Table held their sixth annual beer festival on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd November in aid of Prostate Cymru, the leading prostate health charity in Wales. The popular event, organised and run entirely by volunteers, was held at the De Valence Pavilion in Tenby.
This year attendees were able to taste more beers and ciders than ever before with at least 33 different beers from 14 different breweries and at least 13 different varieties of ciders on offer. The popular Prosecco bar also made a welcome return. Local breweries and providers included Tenby Brewing Company, Harbwr Brewery, Bluestone, Caffle, Mantle, Gower Brewery, Black Rat Perry, Gwynt Y Ddraig, the Pembrokeshire Cider Company and many more! In addition to the beverages both days featured live entertainment with performances from Paul Reggie, Connor Adams, Amanda Short, The Collective and The Sleeping Dogs to add to the party atmosphere.
The town’s Deputy Mayor has praised Tenby Round Table for the successful beer festival, calling the event “brilliant”. Speaking at Tenby Town Council’s meeting on Tuesday 20th November, Cllr Christine Brown said: “There are so few Round Tablers now, so it was a lot of hard work for them all but it was a marvellous weekend for them and I’m pleased that all their hard work paid off.”
Members of Tenby Round Table would like to thank volunteers from Valero who provided invaluable support on both days of the event and to the local volunteers for helping to keep the busy bar running smoothly. The organisers would also like to thank everyone who attended for helping to raise funds for their nominated charity Prostate Cymru and raising awareness of prostate issues.
