A group of 8 cyclists from Swansea called The Manatees are fundraising for Prostate Cymru as they take on the challenge of cycling from Dunkirk to Arnhem.
The team consists of Gwynfor Higgins, Nigel Kirk, Leighton Davies, Dr Richard Evans, Dr John Shotton, Dave Thomas, Sean Maloughs, and Chris Hughes.
In 2019 Gwynfor fundraised for Prostate Cymru by heading to Kenya, East Africa to cycle around Mount Kenya, the highest mountain in the country and the second highest in Africa.
They have chosen this cycle route to pay respects to the men who died in the Battle of Arnhem during WW2, where the Welsh language saved lives.

The Manatees will be taking on the famous 450 mile route on the 21st July for 5 days to raise vital funds for Prostate Cymru.
So far they’ve raised an incredible £840.
