The fifth annual President’s Ball was held at The Towers Hotel and Spa, Swansea on Friday 12th October. Guests battled through the difficult weather conditions caused by Storm Callum to attend the event and show their support for Prostate Cymru, the leading prostate health charity in Wales supporting men with benign prostate disease and prostate cancer. The glamorous black tie event, organised by Prostate Cymru’s President David Brace OBE. Guests included BBC journalist Jayne James, S4C weatherman Chris Jones and supporters of the charity.
Guests were treated to a champagne reception, excellent cuisine and fine wines. Following the delicious meal, an exciting raffle and auction took place. Prostate Cymru ambassador Chris Jones and Chairman of the Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru Brian Harries hosted the President’s raffle and auction. The list of auction prizes included a state of the art orangery, an exclusive hospitality package to see Take That in concert at the Principality Stadium, limited edition signed rugby memorabilia and a rocking horse kindly donated by Carpentry For All in Port Talbot. Guests also hit the dancefloor with brilliant music and entertainment provided by a Jersey Boys group.
