All combine harvesters in West Wales were parked up for the night as 800 farmers and friends packed into the County Showground recently for a hugely successful charity fundraising night headlined by the legendary Wurzels.
The evening was a joint effort between the Pembrokeshire County Show, Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru and the Pembrokeshire appeal for the 2019 Royal Welsh Show.
In support was the highly accomplished former X Factor Star, James Williams from Pontypridd, Pembrokeshire’s very own Symphony Sid and the Swing Kings with the Chris James Disco completing the line up.
Commenting on the event, Show County President Brian Harries paid tribute to the wonderful support the event had enjoyed from sponsors whose generosity had made all the difference in raising such a large sum of money. “The money,” he said, “will be shared equally between the three organisations and the fun and the friendship will long be remembered.”
With Prostate Cymru being the Presidents nominated charity for the year, in total, the Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society donated £10,000 to Prostate Cymru.
