Kevin Knox spoke Welsh only for 24 hours on Wednesday 28th June as part of Milford Haven’s Welsh Week. Kevin, a Welsh teacher in the English language Milford Haven School in Pembrokeshire, decided to use the challenge to raise funds for Prostate Cymru and raised £56.98 on the day. Kevin’s colleagues and pupils had to speak to him in Welsh and Kevin did not shy away from awkward or difficult situations, succeeding in his mission to only speak in the Welsh language. Following his challenge, Kevin continued to fundraise in the school.
Kevin is also a member of the dining club Cylch Cinio Hwlffordd who have supported Prostate Cymru many times, most notably through the Tashwedd campaign in which members of the club grew facial hair for sponsorship in November 2014.
