A selection of Wales national rugby team, players and management, took time out of their busy training schedule this week to lend their support to Prostate Cymru (Charity Trust).
The Cornerstone for the National Charity (for prostate sufferers in Wales) was officially laid today by the backing of the WRU and it’s people. With a natural affinity to the people of wales, and the public watching… it was a vital step forward in raising awareness of the serious nature of Prostate Cancer in both the UK and critically, in Wales. Prostate Cymru is an evolution of Glaze (Prostate Charity Trust Wales) which supported the Cardiff, Bridgend, Porthcawl and Swansea areas of Wales for the last 8 Years. The new evolution of support for prostate sufferers in Wales aims to cover the whole of the country inclusive and will launch fully in summer 2012.
Prostate Cymru aims to fight Prostate Cancer on many fronts including awareness campaigns, fund raising, procurement and front line services. Please get in touch today if you feel you can support this important cause in any way possible.
A big thank you to the WRU and all involved for helping us introduce Prostate Cymru to the Principality.
